1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using WeRaiseFunds, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Software Provider Only; No Custody of Funds

WeRaiseFunds is a software provider. We supply the tools that organizers use to create, manage, and promote their own fundraisers. In plain language:

  • WeRaiseFunds is a software provider only. We are not a charity, a donation platform, a payment processor, or a financial institution.
  • WeRaiseFunds is not a party to any transaction between donors and organizers. Every donation or purchase is a transaction directly between the donor and the fundraiser organizer.
  • WeRaiseFunds is not a money transmitter and does not hold, custody, or have access to funds at any time.
  • Organizers connect their own payment account and receive all funds directly in that account.
  • Payment processing is handled by the organizer's own payment provider, subject to that provider's terms and fees.

3. Use of Service

You may use our software to create fundraising campaigns, make donations, and purchase coupon cards. You agree to provide accurate information and use the service in compliance with all applicable laws.

4. Fundraiser Guidelines

Fundraisers must be for legitimate purposes. We reserve the right to remove any campaign that violates our guidelines or applicable laws.

5. Donations and Payments

All donations and purchases are processed by the fundraiser organizer's own payment provider and are received directly by the organizer. WeRaiseFunds does not process, hold, or control these funds and is not a party to the transaction. Donors understand that donations are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated; refund requests are handled by the organizer and their payment provider.

6. Limitation of Liability

WeRaiseFunds is not responsible for the actions of fundraiser organizers or the use of funds raised using our software.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
